Applying the Artificial Intelligence Solution Set
This week I am talking to Ted Willich, CEP of NLP Logix (@NLPLogix) a company that is creating solutions using the toolset of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that ranges form Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision and Deep Learning through estimation and prediction modeling and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
His personal journey is informative especially in the context of uncertainty today and the ease with which we can become despondent about lack of direction and perhaps not making it into some top elite university. Your incremental learning point here
Just because you don’t get into your first choice does not mean you won’t benefit from your education
In fact his experience in the infantry in the gulf war and challenge they originally had int eh desert fo knowing where they were which was solved with the timely introduction of some ground breaking devices the size of an old car radio unit – original GPS system (a technology that has its own fascinating history of thinking differently by W. H. Guier and G. C. Weiffenbach that started with tracking Sputnik but ended up creating the foundation for our modern day GPS system)
Like several of my other guests his experience with ideas and developing solutions runs in a similar vein with a recurring theme I hear that your first idea should be a sacrificial lamb. In their case in part because it was originally developed to win a competition and not to be commercializable
They have a number of solutions that includes ScribeFusion – an AI powered document capture platform that combines an AI menu selection technologies to create a solution to create utility from the ever present paper in our healthcare system
Listen in to find out how their original solution for image processing because the foundation to the next generation of optical character recognition solutions and hear the clear message that data is the life blood of our future world
